THE NEW ‘PLATINUM’ RANGE FROM SILESTONE BY COSENTINO WITH UNIQUE MICROBAN ANTIBACTERIAL PROTECTION
Cosentino has unveiled its latest collection of Silestone quartz worksurfaces, ‘Platinum’. The collection comprises of four stunning metallic worksurface colours, Carbono, Steel. Chrome and Zirconium, which all incorporate a unique Microban antibacterial protection.
The new ‘Platinum’ collection is inspired by two-time Formula 1 world champion, Fernando Alonso and reflects the values associated with the driver and the world of Formula 1. The collection brings together the latest technology, materials and design influences to create a dramatic range, which looks great and is also highly functional. Throughout the production process zero emissions are released and 100% of the water used in the process is recycled.
Functional, beautiful and hygienic, quartz worktops are made from 93% natural quartz crystals and 7% pigments, resin, mirror and glass. Only three other natural minerals; diamond, sapphire and topaz are harder than quartz. With high scratch and stain resistance, Silestone is available in over 50 colours, with many available in either a polished or leather matt finish.
Silestone by Cosentino is the first and only quartz surfacing material in the world, with patented Microban antibacterial protection. This helps fight the growth of micro-orgasnisms and harmful bacteria which may be on the surface, such as EColi, Salmonella, Listeria, Staphlococcus and the MRSA superbug.
The Microban anti-bacterial technology is incorporated throughout the structure of all Silestone Quartz products during the manufacturing process, providing continuous protection, which cannot be removed or eliminated during the lifetime of the product.
